Man with Parkinson's disease

*

* Isn't there an "n" missing? No, I deliberately use the generalizing personal pronoun "man" and, with my personal blog www.man-mit-Parkinson.de, I address everyone affected by Parkinson's disease, regardless of age or gender.

My name is Michael Decker, and I have Parkinson's disease. Since my diagnosis in 2013—I was 44 at the time—I've been living "Life 2.0." Even though the search for the right medication is becoming increasingly difficult, I'm fighting to prevent the progression. My most successful therapy: mountain hikes in Nepal up to 5,416 meters. In this blog, I'm taking stock of my progress: personal, vivid, and with a bit of humor—as:

Man ( n ) with Parkinson's disease

In addition, I have summarized some of my experiences as a person affected by Parkinson's disease in the form of some food for thought .
