The year 2026, and the unusually long and cold start to the year, really got to me. I bridged the waiting time for the first signs of spring with music: I gave myself an electric bass for Christmas and have been diligently practicing playing clean notes without any strumming ever since. At 57 years old and with Parkinson's disease, that's not exactly easy. But it's fun.
