Recent studies confirm that regular table tennis has a positive effect on people with Parkinson's disease. I can wholeheartedly agree: I've been a member of Ping Pong Parkinson Deutschland e.V. since this summer. I train with up to 40 people with Parkinson's disease in singles and doubles on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Berlin's Olympic Park.
During my participation in the 2025 Five Boro Bike Tour in New York, I was able to participate in a very enjoyable training session at the PPP location in New York City. The contact was made through Sandra Czernicki of PPP Berlin & Umland and Jan Rose, PPP location manager in New York City. The transatlantic PPP bridge is planned to be used for the upcoming World Championships from October 22-27, 2025, in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy , and from September 24 to October 1, 2026, in Hannover , Germany.
